What i dont understand is, since the unpacker doesn't work outside reason, why would anyone buy reason just to use the refills? The refillpacker does the opposite (obviously). Mattz Posted by John on Oct-25-2005 21:09: quote:Īs the name says it let's you unpack the refills, so people who like to use the sounds that are packed in the refills, but dont like to use reason, can now use refills too. like i have refill packer but havent installed it, but what is this all about unpacker. Hey guys, can you please explain the benefits of this as i dont know really what this is all about. Posted by Airyck Sterrett on Oct-23-2005 20:49: EXE FILES WILL NOT OPEN IN APPLE COMPUTERS. and then you'll have to reinstall reason. exe file to run on OSX is to have virtual pc. Ive got a powerbook too, so unless they come up with a mac version of this. EXE files will not open on ANY mac computer. When I try to open it, it says that there's no default app to open it with. I look in the Reason folder (and the Okester and FSB refills are in still in there) and the. exe file into the Reason Folder (which is located in the Application section)Ĥ. I open the'Refillunpacker' folder and also open a second finder window.ģ. I unzip the file and a folder named 'Refillunpacker' is created on my desktop.Ģ.

I originally installed Reason 3.0, now I'm running the upgrade Reason 3.0.4ġ. Posted by GreenLight on Oct-21-2005 09:26: quote:

How does the program work ? I thought the refill format was a propeller head secret format. Theyre nice n all but not being able to unpack them is really unforgivable!!! I say use free refills but boycott commercial refills, just dont buy them and the props will eventually realise a sample cd with near impossible to edit samples really aint worth paying for!!! Yup refills are the biggest fuk up from the props. ReFill Packer is a free utility that lets you build ReFill files for sharing samples, loops and patches for Reason and Reason. Multimedia tools downloads - ReFill Packer by Propellerhead Software AB and many more programs are available for instant and free download. In September 1998 AMG released the World's first REX CD-ROMs.In March 2001 we released two more World firsts - a ReFill for Reason and then a stereo REX2 CD-ROM We have supported and pioneered the REX format so strongly because we believe it to be hugely powerful and uniquely flexible and therefore represents the ideal vehicle for users to get the most from our unique sample library. Do ya no about this tha refill viewer u need to put this where your refill files r at for it to work it lets u see whats inside a refill and u can. To extract a refill is needed to copy Refill Viewer in the main folder of Reason.
